In this course, you will review the theory and design behind The Chinese Medicine Cleanse, as well as gain access to the course to learn about ways to help your patients with Spleen Qi Deficiency and/or Liver Qi Stagnation come to a better state of balance, and determine if the Cleanse is a good fit to recommend for your patients. Interventions can be used to improve patient outcomes and move them towards a healthier lifestyle.
The Chinese Medicine Cleanse is a three-week dietary and lifestyle program blending ancient Chinese wisdom with modern nutritional research to help your patients lose weight, feel better, and have more energy. Created in 2011 by Dr. Jen Yocum, the program includes three weekly manuals with over 100 pages of instruction and recipes, as well as 21 days of inspiration, yoga, and additional recipes. Jen additionally provides support and community for all cleanse participants, past and present.
Course Goals and Objectives
- Learn dietary/nutritional interventions to treat Spleen Qi Deficiency and Liver Qi Stagnation
- Learn the role of movement and lifestyle interventions in improving Spleen Qi Deficiency and Liver Qi Stagnation
- Acquire a tool to help improve patient outcomes when it comes to a variety of conditions, such as excess weight, low energy, gynecological issues, digestive disorders and more

Your Instructor
Dr. Jen Yocum, L.Ac., RYT200 is a licensed acupuncturist, registered yoga teacher, Reiki Master, certified feng shui consultant, and instructor in these and related fields. She is a former neuroscientist and combined her background in research with her other areas of study to create The Chinese Medicine Cleanse, a dietary and lifestyle program. Jen loves to teach and develop programs and courses that help people achieve a state of dynamic balance in body, mind, and spirit.
Jen is additionally certified by the NCCAOM as a PDA provider for professional acupuncturists.
